Alconox can be used as a paste, a soak, and ultrasonically. It can be used on glass, metal, stainless steel, porcelain, ceramic, plastic, rubber, and fiberglass. It can also be used on soft metals such as copper aluminum, zinc, and magnesium if rinsed promptly. Passes inhibitory residue test for water analysis and is authorized by the USDA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
